Captain Freedom is the Politics & Culture Commentator at Trust-Me-Bro.us and a self-appointed guardian of liberty, national pride and extremely loud opinions.
He covers American politics, political culture, elections, government, social debates and the never-ending struggle over what America supposedly stands for this week. Whether the subject is Washington, Hollywood, free speech or a controversial new coffee cup, Captain Freedom is prepared to explain why it may represent a turning point in Western civilization.
Recognizable by his patriotic uniform, American-flag aviators and complete inability to enter a room quietly, Captain Freedom approaches political commentary with the confidence of a man who has never considered the possibility that he might be wrong.
He claims to have sources throughout Washington, although several appear to be television commentators, anonymous social-media accounts and a guy named Randy who once visited the Pentagon gift shop.
Despite his theatrical patriotism, Captain Freedom considers himself an independent thinker. He distrusts political parties, bureaucrats, celebrities, foreign governments and occasionally his own newsroom.
At Trust-Me-Bro.us, his mission is simple: defend freedom, question authority and make absolutely certain nobody forgets which country invented the foam finger.
